Q1 Cloud Storage: Adding a File

4. Digital Workspace Essentials

Where to Put Your Files

Now that you have your Drive Organization Certificate of Completion, put this file in the Thing 4 folder you created.

A file named Stuff inside a folder isn’t helping anyone, as you learned in the previous training app! Using the right folders and meaningful file names will save you time, lower your stress, and help you find exactly what you need, right when you need it.

Play the appropriate video below to learn how to upload a file into a folder.

This document (Uploading a File) will also walk you through the steps with screenshots for both Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive.

Your Turn

Now, go to your Google Drive or your Microsoft OneDrive and add your Drive Organization Certificate of Completion file to your Thing 4 folder.

  • This certificate should have downloaded with an appropriate name. Always pay attention to the download names, and use what you learned in the training app to rename files as needed.Screenshots of the certificate of completions showing in a Google Drive and a Microsoft One Drive.
