Now that you’ve spotted all the online dangers, it’s time to gear up and become a true Cyber Hero! Your mission: build an epic digital defense system. You’ll learn how to protect your personal information by controlling your digital footprint, decoding those sneaky website cookies, and using smart privacy setting controls. You’ll also become a password master (no more “1234”), and find out why updating your apps and games is like putting on armor against hackers based on the latest security patch. Finally, you’ll take everything you’ve learned to design a safety plan that will keep the players in your game safe and sound.

  • Explain how my digital footprint and website cookies affect my online privacy.
  • Create a strong password based on current password recommendations, then test its strength.
  • Identify personal information that is unsafe to share online by analyzing a digital footprint.
  • Use browser privacy settings to control what information I share.
  • Explain the importance of security updates, encryption (HTTPS), and safe downloads.
  • Differentiate between essential and tracking cookies.
