Gold Sphero: Activity One

Activity One

This is best carried out as a team activity, divide up into small groups of three students as directed by your teacher.

Step 1: Get a Sphero from your teacher and make sure the Sphero EDU App is downloaded onto your device.  

• If it is not, and you have the right to download onto your device, here is the Sphero App download page.

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the App, scroll through the screens until you see the login screen.  If you want your progress saved, you will need to log in.  Check with your teacher about specific login instructions.

Step 3: When you are logged in, select Activities on the top menu.  

Step 4: Locate and select the Sphero Blocks: Intro & Loops, and choose Continue Activity or Start. Complete the steps outlined within Block 1: Intro & Loops.

• Discuss and carry out the directions, taking notes of your steps for future reference.

Step 5: Print out or get a copy of the vocabulary terms from your teacher to refer to as you watch the video tutorials.
